Dirt 3 fully completed!! Kenya Wundanyi Climb 1st Place
Feel the heat beating down and the dust in your mouth as you race through this track. It is not the longest or most difficult of tracks but here is a guide to 1st place for those who ARE struggling with it.
Feel free to cut the first left hand corner. It will shave a couple of seconds off your time and there are no dangers in the verge.
As you reach the second right hand corner touch the brakes slightly to lose traction and enter a drift. Full throttle will maintain this drift which you can continue for the duration of the bend.
After you pass the next left hand bend you need to line yourself up correctly. There will be a series of small jumps so you need to make sure you land correctly and not go disappearing off into the bush. At the point of landing don't have your foot on the throttle. This will help with stability on landing.
After these jumps there will be an open right hand bend. Without braking you can enter a drift by just using full throttle. Just maintain this drift using the steering wheel.
After the next left hand bend centre yourself, maybe a little offset to the right. You want to avoid the cordoned off pot hole to the left as this will play havoc when you are trying to pass the cattle trap safely. You should now pass the narrow gates and over the cattle trap without any problems.
Climb the tarmac hill on constant full throttle. The steepness of the hill will certainly protect you from going too fast and straying of the road.
At the top of the climb you will be high up near a cliff edge. It is tempting to cut corners up here to save time. But be cautious!! You don't want more than 2 wheel hanging off the edge!
